Everything Looks the Same
This project explores a human‑centred creative response to the rapid rise of AI and the accelerating cycle of micro‑trends dominating online culture. Using motion graphics, videography, and handmade materials, the work challenges the growing perception that “everything looks the same” in contemporary media, a result of AI‑generated content, trend overconsumption, and the increasing use of social platforms as search engines, particularly among Gen Z. The study examines how AI is reshaping motion graphics differently from other design disciplines, while also considering how these impacts may intensify as AI adoption continues to grow. By highlighting how fast‑paced digital trends and automated content can dilute originality and disconnect from reality, the project advocates for the value of human‑made design.
