Verve

Verve is a feminist‑led, eco‑conscious 0% wine brand built around the values of community, equality, and accessible sustainability. Developed in collaboration with Creative Conscience, a charity dedicated to driving global social and environmental change, the brand embraces a purpose‑driven approach that highlights both wellbeing and social impact. Verve incorporates ingredients known for their health benefits, such as blueberries for reducing inflammation and rose for supporting menstrual comfort while also championing women’s empowerment by creating employment opportunities across production, management, and marketing.

The brand direction was shaped by research into emerging consumer trends, including the rise of low‑alcohol lifestyles, increasing demand for sustainable products, and a growing interest in added health benefits. These insights informed a vibrant, contemporary identity supported by fully recyclable paper and glass packaging, ensuring the product remains both environmentally responsible and visually engaging.

Verve’s packaging design further reinforces its sustainable ethos. The hexagonal outer casing provides a distinctive shelf presence while offering structural stability, making the product instantly recognisable. The packaging is intentionally minimal, consisting solely of a plain glass bottle and a cardboard sleeve that can be easily separated for straightforward recycling. To reduce environmental impact, each flavour uses a single colour printed on the cardboard, maintaining a bold, playful aesthetic while keeping production as sustainable as possible.
